“Alenka” is more than just a nickname — it’s a personal code. With a tattoo of the iconic Soviet chocolate girl and a strong association in people's minds, Alenka became both a symbol and a method. This persona bridges nostalgic imagery with sharp conceptual thinking, forming a signature style rooted in identity, visual codes, and storytelling.
Through “Alenka”, I develop self-initiated campaigns and visual narratives that explore cultural memory, hybrid aesthetics, and local/global intersections. The persona becomes a lens for reimagining Russian visual heritage — from Orthodox iconography and post-Soviet childhood to fashion editorials and global brand narratives.

Path to success
In 2024, "Nostalgia" began its operations. We created a brand whose activities not only allowed us to explore and define the cultural code of modern Russia, but also to unite artists with a shared concept – nostalgia for childhood. It is this sense of nostalgia that enabled us to establish an emotional connection with users through memories and associations.

I am Alena Shvetsova, a graduate of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RGGU), a creative strategist, cultural expert, and someone who truly loves visuals. "Nostalgia" is for me an opportunity to do what I am passionate about and to present an image of Russia from a fresh visual perspective.
I have a deep understanding of behavioral codes, know how to connect with a young audience, and have a knack for catching trends before they become mainstream.

I assemble teams to work on projects.
I believe that global collaboration – whether in technology, art or business – is the key to discovering solutions that transcend borders and can lead to a more connected and prosperous world.
